Amazon Fire Tv Cube
Recently Amazon have launched the fire TV cube that that you control your TV/sound bar/ Digital receiver all by your voice.
Originally I had the Logitech harmony hub Scroll down but I find the cube to be a little more intuitive and it lets you turn on and off each device individually with commands like turn on TV turn on sky et cetera
The cube is also a fully functioning echo device so can be used in the same way.
Well you can change channels by number or by name you can also use it to search for TV shows on the different streaming apps example playground tour on Amazon Prime or play line of duty on BBC iPlayer.
Once you figure out the commands it opens up a huge range of possibilities and as it is a fully functioning echo device you can also use it to view video feeds from cameras or even from your doorbell !

Logitech Harmony Hub
This was the original hub I installed to control the TV when I got my first echo.back in 2017.
At the time it made such a huge difference to me, It was the first time In a few years I was able to go into the Living Room turn on the TV and change the channels ! This may not seem like a lot to some people but for me to have that little bit of independence was amazing!
It was a little tricky to set up in the beginning and would sometimes trip itself up and get a bit confused but once you figured it out it was a great bit of kit
You can buy it with a remote or everything can be controlled from the app and it can be set up to control heating,lights and a variety of home electronic devices
