I know this may not be for everyone, you may think the idea of having a device listening to you in your house is enough of a security breach without giving it access to your front door !
It may be a case of updating the key below rock or wanting to know when someone was entering or leaving the house. It also gives a variety of options for unlocking you can use a keypad, a card / tag or it can be opened remotely from an App on your phone.
Depending on your type of doorlock will dictate which one is more suitable for you. I decided to show you Yale Smart locks as they are the first ones to have the British kitemark BSI standard so that me alleviate some peoples concerns
If You have the lock connected to your Alexa you can have a pin code added for extra security in case you're worried of somebody shouting Alexa unlock door through your letterbox !
