In the beginning I would have used a regular backpack  hanging on the back of my chair to carry all my things.  Whilst it was okay, it did not seem to hold  that much and was difficult to get things in  and  out.  If you needed to get something from the bottom of the bag then everything had to come out.

This backpack is specifically designed for a wheelchair. It is more square in shape  so can hold more than a traditional backpack and a large  opening zip makes it easy to get things in and out. 

 

There are shoulder straps should you wish to carry it  on your back and it also has additional loops to hold it securely to the chair.
